Terms of Use — Highland Driftway

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or submitting an enquiry to Highland Driftway, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or submit enquiries through it.

2. Description of services

Highland Driftway provides outdoor activity bookings in the Khao Lak and Phang Nga region of southern Thailand. Current offerings include:

Coast-to-Forest Day Hike (฿6,200 per person) — guided day hike with packed lunch, water, and transfer
Beach Cabana Stay — 2 nights (฿10,300 per stay) — beach accommodation with daily breakfast and beach loungers
E-Bike & Helmet Rental — daily (฿3,700 per day) — pedal-assist hire with helmet, lock, and route card

Prices are in Thai Baht (฿). Pricing displayed on the site is subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.

3. Eligibility and user obligations

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. For physical activities such as day hikes, participants are responsible for honestly assessing their own fitness and relevant experience before booking. We may decline a booking if we believe a participant's stated or apparent fitness level does not suit the activity safely.

4. Bookings and payment

An enquiry submitted through this site does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed when we respond with written confirmation and payment details, and full or agreed partial payment is received. We reserve the right to hold a booking date for a reasonable period while payment is arranged. Prices are as shown at the time of the confirmed booking and may differ from prices shown on the site at a later date.

5. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

If you need to cancel or change a booking, please contact us as early as possible at [email protected] or +66 95 372 6084. Our general approach:

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the activity date: full refund or free rescheduling.
Cancellations made 3–7 days before: 50% refund or rescheduling subject to availability.
Cancellations made fewer than 3 days before: no refund, but we will offer to reschedule where possible.
If we cancel or significantly change a booking on our side (for example due to adverse weather), we will offer a full rescheduled date or a full refund.

These terms are applied in good faith and we will consider individual circumstances where relevant.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, images, layout, brand name, and logo — belongs to Highland Driftway or is used with permission. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit site content without our written permission. Personal, non-commercial use (e.g. sharing a link) is fine.

7. Acceptable use

When using this site or our services you agree not to:

Submit false or misleading information in enquiries
Attempt to disrupt the website's normal operation
Use the site for purposes unrelated to booking or enquiring about our services
Resell or transfer bookings without our written agreement

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Outdoor activities carry inherent physical risk. We take reasonable precautions and our guides are trained in standard first aid, but we cannot eliminate all risk associated with hiking, cycling, or coastal activities. Participants engage in activities at their own risk and are encouraged to obtain personal travel and activity insurance.

The site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not make representations about the accuracy or completeness of the information provided and are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site. Our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.

This site may link to external websites. We do not control or endorse the content of third-party sites and are not responsible for their practices. Links are provided for convenience only.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from bookings or use of this site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand. We will always attempt to resolve any issue informally before resorting to formal processes.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
